My Photography Origin Story
In spring 2022, with encouragement from my therapist, my husband, and a very good photographer friend, something in my mindset changed and I decided to try doing this photography for real. I joined an online photography academy, bought a used, professional DSLR camera, and started posting on local facebook pages looking for people that would let me practice on them for free. Alex Reglin Photography LLC was born.

I have a soft spot for doing sessions with kids. One of the reasons I decided to take the leap and invest in a professional DSLR camera was to be able to capture moments as my oldest son grew. I love that photography let's us freeze a moment in time and look back on it forever. Being able to provide that for my clients and their families is definitely one of my favorite things about being a photographer.
I’m Back!
It’s been a long 6 months since my last photo session, and I have missed it so much. Last week, I visited my friend, who also happens to be a photographer, so she could do my maternity photos for me. While I was there we collaborated on several photo shoots. It was the first time I’d picked up my camera since December, and wow did it feel good to get back into the swing of things! I’m excited to share the results with you all over my next several posts.
